Armed with a BA in Electrical Engineering from Thomas Edison College, Lee spent 20 years deep in the bowels of the electronics industry before deciding to trade in his scope probe for a pen. He spent five years as the communication technology editor for Electronic Design magazine, then served as senior technology editor at ChipCenter, also covering communications and networking technology, before joining EN-Genius Network in March of 2002 as the primary editor of the ZONEs covering connectivity, networking, and all things "green." His latest book, Green Electronics/Green Bottom Line - A Commonsense Guide To Environmentally Responsible Engineering and Management, was recently published by Newnes Press.
