Break-ups are always painful and difficult. Every person’s experience will be unique but most will pass through the same typical stages of grief and loss. These stages don’t necessarily come in any particular order and just because you have experienced one stage does not mean that you have completed it and will not experience it again. The typical stages are: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. Having a good book to support, guide, and help the healing can make the process of recovery a little easier.
