Best of the Best

So you’re in the market for a Home Gym. You want something highly functional yet not too bulky. You want a Home Gym to be loaded with all the bells and whistles but not too pricey. Here are five Home Gyms that I feel give you the most bang for your buck. In a time where the pace is always hustle and bustle, who wants to sit in traffic jams and burn up $4.00 a gallon gas to get to the gym. For many being able to train in the privacy of your own home using your own equipment is the ideal solution. You can get in and out without jumping into your car. You can improve your heath and stay fit without ever having to leave your home. Many people pay for gym memberships that they rarely use. Their account gets dinged every month whether they show up or not. A new home gym will put an end to this madness.

As with all major decisions in your life and what could be more major than your own health and well being, careful planning is essential. Before making a purchase there are some things to consider, such as:

What are your fitness goals?
Better Health? Feeling and Looking Younger? Weight Management? Preparing for specific sporting events? Whatever your goals may be, a general rule of thumb is to find equipment that will facilitate you in achieving all around fitness. For all around fitness it is recommended that you purchase equipment that will work your heart and lungs, and at the same time, work your muscles.

What is your budget?
Develop a budget and stick to it as closely as possible! Do your homework and shop around, somebody, somewhere will be selling what you want at the price you want to pay.

How much space do you have - Where will you put the equipment?
Safety should be the key element in making this decision. Avoid low ceilings, or obstacles, which can be hit if lifting weights. The floor should be sturdy and able to handle the weight. There should be good lighting and fresh airflow.

Will you use it?
Of course, MOTIVATION is key here, so when choosing your equipment it should suit the interests and fitness levels of as many members of the family as possible. Your workouts should be enjoyable as well as challenging enough to progress to higher levels. Remember if you get bored with the equipment, you probably won’t use it.

To assist you in this process, I have chosen the “Best of the Best’ and the ‘Rest of the Best’ in Home Gym Equipment.
