Best Camera Phones

By Mark Bridge, Cell Phone Expert

The camera phone – a combination of digital camera and cellphone – has now been around for over ten years, helping us capture special moments whenever and wherever they happen.

Although bigger isn’t always better, choosing a camera phone with the largest image sensor is often a good guide to the picture quality you’d expect. A “5-megapixel camera” will take photos that are created from around five million tiny colored dots, which means the image is likely to be significantly better than the same picture taken on a 2-megapixel device.

Samsung G800
This camera phone has a 3x optical zoom, giving you close-up images without moving… and without any significant loss in quality. On the back is a proper xenon flash, while the G800 also has advanced camera features including face detection and Wide Dynamic Range.

And that’s only part of the story, because this handsome handset is a music player and FM radio as well.
