Similar to the Vac U Vin system, but a more decidedly labor-intensive pump than it has. Still, the labor isn’t that big a deal and the stoppers do indeed keep the vacuum seal. Once again, pay attention to storage after the cork has been popped, but with that warning out of the way, feel free to pump out the bad, seal in the good and drink the freshness for at least three days or so.
