If you have lots of Nikon lenses and want to venture into the DSLR world, then this is the camera for you. It has an 11-area auto focus system, a built-in speed light and a 2.5-inch LCD monitor. The Nikon D80 sensor is a CCD for good image quality. Keep in mind that this camera only uses the consumer level SD (secure digital) cards and not the CFII (compact flash) variety.
