A close second to the Canon 5D is the Nikon D300. The Nikon D300 has extremely fast image processing, a 51-point auto focusing area and a large 3-inch LCD! It has a self-cleaning sensor, so dust will be vibrated off of the resulting images. The camera is ruggedized for the most demanding of applications, can take 6 frames per second (fps) in burst mode and has a feature called Live View to reveal the final image before the shutter is pressed. The D300 can even be set to ISO 6400!
