The Leica is the ‘Rolls Royce’ of the professional range-finder type cameras. In fact, it is the only professional digital camera to use the range finder type system. This allows for more creative photography, because of its small size. It is definitely the smallest professional quality digital camera in either the Best of the Best or the Best Value categories. The quality of the camera’s optics rivals the images from both Nikon and Canon. This rivalry comes at a steep price; you will pay more for the lenses. Note this camera takes SD (secure digital) cards only, stores images in DNG or JPEG and can accept any Leica M lens since 1954!
