Another relative newcomer to premium denim is J Brand which was co-founded by Jeff Rudes and Susie Crippen. J Brand pretty much started the skinny jean trend and rightfully makes some of the best out there. But what I love most about this brand is their overall design philosophy of clean and minimal design, dark washes, and great fit. In fact, their one mandate is to have no excess hardware or embellishments on their jeans.
Even though they don’t make ‘Tall’ styles, their inseam is a generous 35” which means that tall girls can finally wear heels with their denim. They recently introduced maternity to their line and I’m looking forward to seeing more great styles and fits from them.
