I like this vacuum a lot. In the event it gets left out, its understated design makes it pretty enough to not offend (maybe not the first thing you’d look for in a vacuum cleaner, but aesthetics do matter!). Even lighter than many of the other canister models listed, I found it powerful, affordable, and quiet enough to hear household sounds over the compact motor. (The “Dinosaur” I have at home sounds like an idling eighteen-wheeler!) Although it doesn’t have re-usable bags, a really cool indicator displays when the replaceable bag is full, meaning less drag on the motor. Smaller than most comparable models, it’s got all the bells and whistles you’d expect from something twice its size… cleanable and reusable HEPA filters; squishy soft-touch handles, bumpers and wheels; a telescoping wand; and, surprisingly, space for all the gadgets and jumble you’ll ever need if you expect to keep your home ship-shape.
