I fell in love with these pants for one great feature: the adjustable drawstring cord in the pocket, which magically raises the bottom of your pants to prevent drag. Being 5'2", every pant I own has frayed bottoms from dragging on the ground. Not only does this feature prevent this, but it also keeps the bottom of your pant from getting dirty in the parking lot. The degree pant is slightly insulated, and its rating of 10000M offers superb weatherproofing. They have six pockets: two front hip, two back, and two front thigh pockets. There is mesh lining in the two zipper vents, as well as throughout the inside of the pant.
