This is a glorified bulletin board or chalk board but it is framed beautifully with a moulding handcrafted of hardwood and composites with a warm antique gold finish. It lets you turn everyday messages and notes into ever-changing works of art making it decorative and functional at the same time. The largest one measures 53" x 83" and the next sizes are 40" x 60", 30" x 45", 37¾" x 25¾" and 26" x 21". It can be hung vertically or horizontally. You can use the one large area as a working life collage of organization to put up a calendar, schedules, lists, push pins to hang keys, tickets etc. If it is a chalk board, use it for lists and messages and draw in your own calendar spaces to customize a month or week according to your needs.
The message board works where ever you have the most wall space as the largest version takes up a lot of room. It is probably not that great in a hallway because the high traffic might knock things off the board or wipe chalked messages off and you can't get a good overall perspective of the artistic quality of the life collage from such a tight space.
At 53" x 83", you need a nice piece of wall real estate to hang it.
The message board is simple and clean in appearance. Some of the more modern interiors might find the frame too fussy.
