The Best You Can Get

  • The Grinder Video Game for Nintendo Wii

Expert says: The Wii equivalent to Valve’s Left For Dead series, The Grinder brings motion controlled gaming to the itchy trigger fingered gaming masses.  The first attempt at 4-player co-op online FPS gaming on the Wii runs smooth and seamless as you shred undead minions galore.  With a B-Movie aesthetic, The Grinder’s straight forward control scheme will appeal to even the most novice of gamers and  with up to 60 enemies coming at you at one time, you best prepare for the onslaught.

  • Kirby Video Game for Nintendo Wii

Expert says: Kirby games have been around forever and this new Wii version blends elements of Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, and other hyper anime products.  With a fun co-op play for up to 3 players, Kirby Wii has a more adult edge this time around with weapons and projectile abilities.  Still a side scrolling adventure, Kirby remains true to its colorful and cartoonish visuals.  Appealing for both children and parents alike, Kirby for the Wii should be a nice family game to play together on Christmas morning.

  • Spider-man: The Edge Of Time Video Game for Nintendo Wii

Expert says: Spider-man returns for the Wii with the Edge of Time this holiday season.  Two different Spider-man’s from different times and dimensions work together as one The Amazing Spider-man’s past controls another Spider-man 2099’s future.  The unique concept coupled with fluid and vivid animations, the Edge of Time is an ideal choice for the super hero obsessed gamer in your household. Look for it this Holiday season but don’t get too caught in the web.

  • Zelda: The Skyward Sword Video Game for Nintendo Wii

Expert says: Just about the most heralded franchise in Nintendo’s colorful gaming history, The Legend of Zelda: The Skyward Sword is the last Link game scheduled for release on the Wii.  With the addition of the Wii Motion Plus accessory, Link’s sword will react to your exact movements.  This control scheme will be just as important for defensive actions as it is for offensive stances.  With a cartoony and anime flair, The Skyward Sword will keep new and longtime fans gaming until the Wii U releases the next Zelda game.

  • Madden 2012 Video Game for Nintendo Wii

Expert says: The perennial franchise returns for the Wii with Madden 2012.  Applying an updated 2011 NFL roster, Madden ‘12 will also feature all new TV broadcast presentations across the board.  Getting you off the couch and into the field of your living room, the Madden ‘12 experience will bring football to life like never before as you run, pass, and tackle your way to victory.  Get your copy this August and get your game on all the way to next year.
